Who is Martin Golob?

Martin Golob comes from a farming family near Šmartno pri Litija. He was born in 1988 and has five brothers. 

After high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Theology and was ordained a priest in 2013. He served as a chaplain in Zagorje and Vrhnika, followed by a period as a parish priest in Srednja vas in Bohinj. In 2020 he moved to the parish of Grosuplje.

He is known for his roles, in which he speaks simply and affectionately to his large following.
