Duration of the competition
The competition takes place from 1 August 2025 to 1 November 2025. The results will be published no later than 31 December 2025.
Who can (and who can't) participate?
The competition is open to all persons of legal agewho meet the eligibility criteria and submit their photos in accordance with the rules.
In order to ensure the fairness and impartiality of the competition, employees of Dewesoft, Katapult, Katapult Metal, Dewesoft Inspiretech, Dewesoft Monitoring and the City of Acrobats Foundation, as well as their immediate family members (partner, children, parents, siblings) are not eligible to participate.
How to enter the competition
Please send us your photo to info@mestoakrobatov.si.
Every photo must be:
- the work of the contributor (without the use of artificial intelligence),
- filmed in the Zasavje region,
- 500KB to 2 MB (JPEG or PNG format).
For each photo you send, please write in the email:
- Subject: The most beautiful photo of Zasavje
- the name and surname of the photographer,
- address of residence,
- year of birth,
- contact telephone and email address.
Everyone can participate with only two photos, sending them separately.
Ineligible applications will not be considered for selection.
The winning photos will be published on our website and on FB pages City of Acrobats and inform the prize-winning authors personally. The results will be published no later than 31 December 2025.
Selection and prizes
10 photos will be awarded:
- 1st place: 500 EUR
- 2nd place: 300 EUR
- 3rd place: 150 EUR
- 7 others selected: 50 EUR each
* prices are in gross values
Selected bywill be held in two parts:
- public vote via social networks,
- Commission vote (Jure Knez - Dewesoft, Mitja Ličar - Marketing Manager of Dewesoft, Darko Kunič - Manager FB group Beauty of Zasavje and members Catapult Media).
Use of photographs
By participating, the participant represents and warrants that he/she is the sole author of the photographs submitted and that he/she owns all copyright.
By submitting photos to the competition organiser (City of Acrobats Foundation, Knez holding d.o.o.) non-exclusive, free of charge and unlimited in time grants the right to use the prize-winning photographs for the following purposes:
- publication on the organiser's website, social media and other communication channels,
- use in promotional material (printed and digital),
- exhibitions and public presentations related to the competition and the activities of the organiser.
Photos will be published with the name and surname of the photographer.
The author retains all other copyright and may use the photos elsewhere.

Personal data protection (GDPR)
Personal Data Controller
The data controller is the City of Acrobats Foundation, Knez holding d.o.o., which organises the competition.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The personal data of the participants is collected and processed solely for the purpose of running the competition, including the selection and publication of the prize-winning photographs and communication with the participants. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the participant (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the fulfilment of the contractual obligations of the organiser in connection with the competition (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Scope of personal data
For the purposes of the competition, the following data will be collected: name and surname, address of residence, year of birth, contact telephone number and email address.
Retention period of personal data
Personal data will be kept for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the competition or for as long as necessary to resolve any complaints and comply with legal obligations.
Individual rights
The participant has the right to:
- access to your personal data,
- correction of inaccurate data,
- deletion of personal data (unless there is a legal basis for keeping it),
- processing restrictions,
- to object to processing,
- data portability,
- lodging a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si).

Transfer of data to third parties
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or if this is necessary for the purpose of the competition (e.g. tax authorities).
Complaints and dispute resolution
- All complaints and claims shall be resolved by the Organiser. In the event of justified complaints, the Organiser undertakes to remedy them within the time limit set by law and to inform the Participant thereof.
- The company Knez Holding d.o.o., the City of Acrobats Foundation, will endeavour to resolve any disputes arising in connection with the competition amicably.
Organiser:
- accepts no responsibility for any disputes regarding the copyright of the works entered,
- reserves the right not to publish all photographs received,
- reserves the right to change the rules if circumstances dictate.
Tax liabilities
The prizes stated in these Rules are expressed in gross amounts. The Organiser will ensure the calculation and payment of income tax, if required by law, in accordance with the applicable tax legislation (ZDoh-2). The winners will receive the net amount after deduction of tax liabilities and will be informed of this when the prize is paid out. For winners who are natural persons, the Organiser will submit the relevant report to the tax authorities (REK form). The winner hereby expressly agrees to participate in the competition.
