Who is Dušan Olaj?
Dušan Olaj founded DUOL in 1992, a world-renowned company in the design, production and assembly of inflatable halls.
With DUOL, he has contributed to the patenting of a membrane technology with additional thermal insulation suitable for the construction of energy-efficient inflatable halls. He is also well known for his work in the development of crew habitats, in particular for future missions to Mars.
Dušan Olaj, a chess player, was an active runner and triathlete who managed to achieve the title of "Six star finishers". This title belongs to only five Slovenians who have successfully completed all six of the world's biggest marathons.
In 2013, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2016, together with DUOL, he was nominated for the Central Slovenia Gazelle Award. In 2018, he received the award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. In 2024, he was named Del's Entrepreneurial Star.
