When the first dusk falls over the valley,
the lights come on in the darkness.
The day bids farewell, the night glows
the whole valley is sooty.
Only underground miners don't detect it,
when the sun sets behind the hills,
if it's night, if it's day
in the Sava Valley.
O valley of Trbov!
This is where people create, where they live.
He likes to sing, play music,
if necessary, slaughtered by three.
If it succeeds, he is happy.
If it doesn't go well, he gets angry
and goes to the pub for a drink.

and banish the darkness behind the mountain,
