The phoenix is a mythical fire bird that, at the end of its life cycle, catches fire, burns to ashes and is then reborn from them. The sculpture by academic sculptor Zoran Poznič has found its permanent home at the northern entrance to the City of Acrobats – as a symbol of a renewed flourishing from the ashes of the devastation of the past.

The area of the former open-cast mine, where the future of the City of Acrobats is being built on the foundation of its black gold history, is beautifully located, but with one drawback for future green parks – the soil is rather poor. Stones, clay, bits of coal… and yet we want to create large areas of pleasant greenery for walks and relaxation.
On the Acrobat City construction site, protected flowers were found which we successfully transplanted to a suitable location in collaboration with Ljudmila Strahovnik (Nature Conservation Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, OE Celje), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning, Tomaž Granda (B.Sc. The architect Kristijan Čuk (Fin Ars) has designed the beautiful appearance of the City of Acrobats, which is represented by two wings of an aerobatic plane, with the central building of Dewesoft, the builder and owner of the whole city, in the middle. The lines of the city coincide with those of nature, with the Beech Mountain being the most prominent.
