Simplicity. The frogs were the shelves, the birds sang, and even the mouflons and rabbits greeted us sometimes. But what if everything was so overgrown that even the mouflons couldn't be found, and the rabbits were scratching at the edge of the bushes. There was more than just views. stitch, more than a relaxed walk, it's torture over rough terrain and steep slopes.

So we went into action. Jure took the rakes, Uroš the motorcycle, Petra some scissors, and Vid the saw. But that didn’t go anywhere… There was hardly any activity on the 15 ha of land. The first sensible purchase was a mulcher (orange, of course). The law finally came into effect. Then we all put on work clothes and protective gear. Good motorcycles, better forklifts. And our “ mascot” – a jeep that gets us almost anywhere. 

We bought an indispensable tractor that still needs to be painted orange. And a trailer. And a whole lot of other things. We picked up trash and rocks, enriched the soil, cleared forests, leveled the terrain, regularly mow the grass and generally maintain the place as if it were our home. Finally, the surroundings began to take on a completely new look… 

The forests breathed and let the sun’s rays down to their bottom. We planted new trees and planted hundreds of bags of grass – well, we really worked hard to get it to come to fruition, because the soil was really bad before. But we also fixed that. All that while we enjoyed ourselves, had a lot of fun, did even more, and in the evenings we toasted by the fire in our fire pit. By the way – we are sitting on the logs that we have masterfully hammered together. Yes, we have already left behind a lot of blisters and sweat here. 

Yes, we know that there is still a lot of work ahead of us. Luka and Uroš have taken the entire renovation to an even higher level, with all the documentation and simulations.
