In collaboration with POP TV, we are organising monthly "Stories of Acrobats" events with Uroš Slak, who hosts successful individuals in Trbovlje, the City of Acrobats, who are changing the world for the better. This time, the guest was Bogdan Kronovšek from Kronoterm, and Žiga Mandelj from M-ARMS presented himself as the young Acrobat.

Many people say, “Why are you rushing, what do you need this for?” But I like going to work. It's not every day, is it? fine, ... it's not pleasant every day. But when you see 120 people, the majority of whom are making sacrifices to ensure things are delivered, done, and that things are truly top-notch... that gives you energy. You want to be part of this story, this company, this process, this atmosphere. I'll be here as long as I can and as long as I'm not a hindrance to the company's development.

When it's a small team, you're very productive and very connected, but if you lose a key person, the company's future can be jeopardised. When there are more of us and we know how to pass on more knowledge, replacements become less tragic.

What has my disability given me in business? I don't see the problems we have as so dramatically terrible. In any case, life goes on, whether we do this or that, society moves on, the world keeps turning. It's up to us to try to do the best we can in the role we have.

I want to instil good work habits in my children. I hope it works.

I had unconditional support from my parents. They wanted, and enabled me to have, as normal a childhood and adolescence as possible.

When you start to reap small successes, they give you extra will and you start to think about what else you can achieve, what else you can improve.

Whatever life throws my way, I try to make the best of it.

As an engineer, the directorial role was a big shock because I suddenly had to deal with people's psychology, employees, relationships, irrational decisions... so I had to learn a lot from this sub-field. Over time, you become a bit more at home in that too.

Engineering fascinates me: to conceive something, create it, and see how it works.

I absolutely do not want to be an obstacle to the company's further development, so I give department heads considerable freedom so that the company is still self-sufficient.

Employees are a very, very important part of this structure, of this process. You can't do everything yourself. Therefore, you have to establish a structure and trust people. You also want people to have conditions that make them happy to come to work, and for the work they do to be interesting, to give them some meaning, that they can be proud of. Therefore, within the company, I want to establish conditions that make employees want to come to work.

There are always crises and problems, both daily and larger ones. With my experience, I’m not panicked by them, and perhaps I don’t see things as extremely dramatic. Then it’s also easier for all of us to face them together.

These events are also organised to promote entrepreneurship and creativity and to show entrepreneurship in a positive light.
